Projects realised by people
Our mission
For nearly 10 years, we have been transforming a traditional coffee farm into an organic farm with coffee cultivated in agroforestry. Not just productivity, but also quality have increased during this time. Our particularly delicious specialty coffees have achieved high quality ratings through continuous improvement of cultivation methods and processing procedures.
At the same time, we have transformed degraded soils from former cattle grazing into a young forest with a high biodiversity which together with native forests and the organic coffee plantation form the nature reserve Ánima la Vida. We foster ecological restoration on our new Finca El Porvenir (since 2025) and through our tree nursery (since 2023), in which we nurture rare species, with special focus on ecological restoration. Other farms in the region recur on these sources and our experience.
All this is achieved by a team that sees our farm as a microcosm of this world and is committed to improving it. We want to show how things could be better for everyone if people learned to live in harmony with nature again.
